One of the things we love most about copper is that it tells a story over time. With regular wear, your cuff will naturally deepen into a richer, darker vintage tone — developing character unique to you. Your skin’s natural oils also help create a protective layer over the copper, which is why well-loved pieces often age beautifully.
If you prefer the bright polished copper look, it’s easy to restore.
To Polish Your Cuff
Simply use:
A copper polish + a soft cloth, or
A homemade mix of lemon juice or vinegar + salt
Leave the cuff in the solution for a few minutes, then gently rub with a soft cloth.
Important: If using a vinegar or lemon solution, always neutralise the acidity afterwards using bicarbonate soda + water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before wearing or storing.
For a softer vintage finish, many people choose to simply let the copper age naturally.
